Webcasting
Description
This license authorizes the reproduction of sound recordings for broadcast purposes in:
- Internet radio services (webradios)
- non-interactive online services
- semi-interactive online services
To apply for a license, please fill out our interactive online form which will be sent directly to our Licensing Department. Once received, we will contact you as soon as possible.
Non-interactive and semi-interactive webcasting
Rate
- 25 000$ Guaranteed annual advance
- The greater of 25% of gross revenues, prorated to the Soproq repertoire or 0.0023$ per play
General terms
- Valid for 12 months, renewable automatically
- The license covers only sound recordings represented by Soproq
- Licensee is responsible for obtaining the musical content
- Licensee is responsible for paying all other applicable tariffs (public performance, musical works, etc.)
- Synchronization is not permitted
- Licensee is responsible for providing all required reporting: financial report for fee calculation and songs report in EXCEL format
Interactive Webcasting
Soproq does not have the mandate to grant licenses for this type of webcasting. You need to contact the record labels or the rights owners or their distributors directly.
Non-Commercial Microcaster
Rate
- 100$ per year
General terms
- Valid for 12 months, renewable automatically
- The license covers only sound recordings represented by Soproq
- Licensee is responsible for obtaining the musical content
- Licensee is responsible for paying all other applicable tariffs (public performance, musical works, etc.)
- Synchronization is not permitted
